Could potentially have 300,000 dollars to hire an engineer. Money would be coming from the state.
Discussion on hiring a local person with dam building experience.
Has to have representation from Prosecutor’s Office representing the flood district and one
representing the county.
Senator Braun has been asking what the County has been putting in. Erik Martin has put forth a lot of
information for this. Scott Betcher has put together a chart reflecting what the County has put into it.
Commissioner Jackson asked where the Chehalis Tribe stands on the dam issue. He also asked about the
Quinault Tribe’s intentions.
The County will be moving forward with a dam.
