The group discussed the need to create a Strategic Plan.
The group discussed media coverage of the 911 center.
Dave Anderson discussed troubles with a radio frequency.
Steve Walton said he planned to meet with Paulette Young later in the day to discuss 911.
Dave Anderson and Steve Walton left the meeting at 2:22 p.m.
The group discussed PDRs.
Daleyn Coleman and Archie Smith left the meeting at 2:32 p.m.
The commissioners discussed Homeless Connect and other services available for the region’s homeless
community.
The commissioners discussed the need to create an interlocal agreement with Chehalis.
Commissioner Stamper discussed a business owner’s request to build a mini storage facility on property
that isn’t zoned for it. He said the business owner has nearby property that allows that type of facility
and doesn’t understand why the newly purchased property does not. Commissioner Stamper said the
BOCC has the ability to make a special exemption for the property to allow the business owner to use
the property for a storage facility.
Paulette Young joined the meeting at 3 p.m.
Paulette discussed the recent Risk Pool meeting and the mold testing.
Paulette left at 3:09 p.m.
The commissioners discussed funding for the proposed dam.
Commissioner Jackson joined the meeting at 3:20 p.m.
All three commissioners decided to refrain from attending future Senior Transition Team meetings
unless the team requests the commissioners’ presence in an effort to allow the Transition Team to focus
on moving forward.
Erik Martin joined the meeting at 3:21 p.m.
Commissioner Stamper and Erik Martin discussed the day’s Transportation meeting.
Commissioner Jackson left the meeting at 3:24 p.m. and returned at 3:25 p.m. with Trevor Elliot.
