The commissioners discussed the recent discovery that hatchery smolt went missing.
Commissioner Stamper discussed wild and native fish.
The commissioners discussed the updated list of unpaid health permits.
The commissioners discussed sending out a memo regarding an update to the county’s strategic plan.
The commissioners discussed the nuts and bolts of a 2017-2020 strategic plan. They discussed using the
2012-2015 Strategic Plan as a springboard from which to draft an updated plan.
The group discussed the fact that the 2012-2015 plan looked at combining 911 and Emergency
Management.
The commissioners discussed the benefits of conservative budgeting. Commissioner Fund said Law and
Justice does not pinch pennies as it used to.
The commissioners tabbed Commissioner Jackson as the point person.
