2017-02-13 Wrap UpBOCC Wrap-up February 13, 2017 9:05 a.m. Present: Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Jackson, Candy Hallom, Rachel Hunt Guest: CJ Neer Recorder: Rieva Lester Commissioner Fund made a motion to reconfirm the temporary appointment of Kim Amrine as the BOCC’s official Public Records Officer. Commissioner Jackson seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. Commissioner Stamper said Bob Wagner would like him to visit Washington D.C. to discuss rural schools. He said he is exploring the idea and has spoken to Budget about crunching the numbers for it. He said he also might be able to discuss the region’s dam woes during the trip. Commissioner Fund discussed the list of establishments that have not yet paid for their Health Department permits. The commissioners will call those with unpaid balances. Commissioner Jackson said he is continuing to explore Jonathan Meyer’s request regarding raises and / or bonuses. He suggested tabling the request until the commissioners have had an opportunity to further investigate the matter. Candy Hallom discussed the day’s calendar and the week’s calendar. Candy left at 9:35 a.m. The commissioners gave Rachel Hunt permission to take June 19-28 off for a mission trip to Honduras. Rachel left at 9:37 a.m. The commissioners reviewed the day’s BOCC meeting agenda. The commissioners discussed the vacancies on the fair board. Susan DeLaire joined the meeting at 9:42 a.m. The commissioners discussed the vacancy on the Pac Mountain board, and they discussed the 2015 Interlocal agreement that was not signed. Commissioner Jackson said he met with landowner John Smith. Meeting ended at 9:51 a.m.
