IACME reaccreditation: working on updating the manual,
Legislative items (WACME): working to change the statute this year, working towards allowing a state
wide case management system next year.
Change in the Coroner’s Inquest wording, from Coroner to Medical Examiner
Discussion about further changes to inquest wording and procedures for Inquests, including funding.
Mass fatality after-action report: Level 1 mass fatality – 3rd level 1 in three years. Still pending the fire
investigation.
Day 1- February 9th- 6:15 preliminary notification, potential of 3 decedents
Arrived on scene at 9:05. Recovery operations began- left scene at about 1:00 p.m.
The cost of the response was briefly discussed.
Indigent cremations: four being worked on this week but only have the funding for three.
