Steve Walton said the weekly finance system meetings kicked off the first week of March. He said the
second meeting is planned for March 8. He also said the Sharepoint site, which allows direct
communication with Tyler, is up and running.
Communications: Steve said the L & I closing conference is planned for March 13. He said the new radio
control equipment is being installed.
Facilities: Steve said there will be a timber cruise at Rose Park. He said the county is getting estimates
for repairs to Schafer Park, and he said the county has put up some gates to protect the Bonogofski
property.
Fair: Steve said a Seattle firm will work on the new ticketing system. He said the Fair Advisory
Commission will meet March 7. He said Tamara Hayes is exploring using Showorks, a computerized
program that could help streamline exhibitor information and premiums.
Becky Butler and Carma Oaksmith joined the meeting at 11:07 a.m.
Fair, continued: Steve said Tamara is contacting DAHP about possibly listing the fair grandstands on the
state historic register. He also discussed repairs needed for the South Grandstand side roof.
