The commissioners discussed the week’s calendar. Commissioner Fund said she would not be able to
attend the week’s ESC meeting. The group discussed agenda items for the ESC meeting.
The commissioners discussed the two new Napavine City Council vacancies, the day’s BOCC agenda, and
Tacoma Power’s plans to lower Riffe Lake.
The group discussed the boat launch and swimming areas at Riffe Lake. Commissioner Stamper said
Tacoma Power evidently has not yet filed paperwork with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
regarding the boat launch and swimming areas.
Becky Butler joined the meeting at 9:39 a.m. and left at 9:40 a.m.
CJ Neer asked if the commissioners could plug the Puyallup Fair. She also discussed a recent interaction
she had regarding the senior center in Packwood.
Becky returned at 9:47 a.m. She said the county receives small increases from Tacoma Power annually.
Commissioner Stamper left at 9:50 a.m.
