2017-03-21 Prosecutors UpdateProsecutor’s Update March 21, 2017 2:57 p.m. Present: Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Jackson, Glenn Carter, Eric Eisenberg, David Fine Recorder: Rieva Lester The group discussed the state Liquor and Cannabis board. At 2:59 p.m., Commissioner Stamper announced that the Board was going into Executive Session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 15 minutes to discuss pending litigation. Executive Session ended at 3:14 p.m. No decisions were made. Glenn Carter left at 3:14 p.m. David Fine discussed a 12 percent Leasehold Excise Tax. David said the taxing statutes do not require the 12 percent Leasehold Excise Tax fee to be attached to the “Business Fee.” David left at 3:17 p.m. Eric Eisenberg returned to discussions about Kittitas County’s discussion with the state Liquor Control and Cannabis board. Sharyn Decker joined the meeting at 3:18 p.m. Eric discussed a request for the Centralia UGA and correspondence he’d had regarding that request. Eric discussed the Bonagofski property on Reynolds Road, which the county took possession of as a tax foreclosure. He said hulk vehicles have been removed. He said two people have asked about leasing the property. Commissioner Stamper and Eric discussed creating an ordinance or resolution to allow ATVs on county roads in the east county.
