Present: Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Jackson, Lee Napier, Wes Rethwill, Erik Martin, Sandi
Andrus, Paulette Young (by phone), Tawni Shepherd, Steve Wohld, Becky Butler, Steve Walton, Steve
Mansfield, Carma Oaksmith, Commissioner Fund (joined the meeting at 9:18 a.m.)

Wes Rethwill discussed a Cooperative Agreement with the US Forest Service.
Wes discussed an interlocal agreement with Toledo for a regional evidence facility.
Erik Martin discussed the reappointment of five members to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.
Erik discussed an amendment to the 2017 Annual Construction Program.
Lee Napier discussed the hearing for Open Space.
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move six (6) Consent items and one (1) Hearing to the
Monday, April 24, BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Fund seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.
Lee Napier discussed a disparity study available for the airports. She said there is no cost to participate
and that it would in fact save the county money.
Sandi Andrus said Health’s new public health nurse will start Monday.
Paulette Young gave an overview of her upcoming schedule.
Steve Wohld said he wants to meet with Kim, Chris, and Commissioner Jackson to discuss the upcoming
radio show.
Steve Mansfield said 911 continues to make progress.
Commissioner Jackson said the state 911 coordinator will visit Lewis County. He said he’ll meet with a
group that may buy the naming rights for the sports complex.
Commissioner Fund said she’s continuing to “pound on doors” regarding the state Legislature.
The group further discussed the Hirst decision.
Commissioner Stamper said he wants to explore how much money marijuana will bring to the county.
