Commissioner Jackson made a motion to add a proclamation honoring Rose Bowman to the Monday,
May 8, BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Fund seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.
The group discussed the agenda order and agenda and calendar procedures.
The group discussed creating a point person for responding to questions.
Candy Hallom left at 9:21 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper left at 9:21 a.m.
Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Jackson discussed lodging tax revenues.
Candy returned at 9:23 a.m.
Commissioner Fund said she wants to promote the monthly mayors’ meeting via Facebook and Mail
Chimp.
Commissioner Stamper returned at 9:31 a.m.
Candy said she would schedule a meeting with the commissioners, Budget, and IT to discuss budgeting
and the Morton court.
The commissioners said they would discuss the fair board vacancy later in the day.
The group discussed the commissioners’ May calendar.

Commissioner Jackson said SW Washington Clean Air Agency recently voted to raise fees by 20 percent.
