Employment Situations Union Business: • Update on proposals o AFSCME – Mediation update o Supervisors – Mediation update o JV Detention 7K Schedule – Mediation update. o All contracts require ratification – No discussion o Corrections – Moving to mediation o PA – status of discussion o Labor union agreements  HR to communicate with Russ and meetings that he is requesting. Policy • Travel Policy – No discussion • Drug & Alcohol – sales of glass pipes – No discussion • Meeting Policy – Concerns over restrictions and impact it may have on effective and efficient operations. • Classification and budget – will review law on classification and budget related functions. Have spoken to Auditor’s Office for clarification and will communicate with them.
