Present: Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Fund, and Commissioner Jackson, Becky Butler, Steve
Walton, Justyna Tomtas

2018 Budget
Commissioner Fund stated we are talking tomorrow at ESC regarding the 2018 budget. Once piece will
be not hiring a new employee until sick and payout are adjusted for budget. The departments would
have to go to the BOCC for requesting exceptions.
Becky stated the other item was discussed at the last ESC was conserving on training budget.
Becky asked if the BOCC wants a memo for the ESC Meeting tomorrow or do they want it together for
the June meeting when the budget office.
Commissioner Jackson recommends that we talk further on this before we present it to the ESC.
Steve Walton recommends that we float this out for another month.
Budget amendments will not automatically be approved. They will be reviewed first.
Commissioner Fund asked if Budget will be able to give an update of where we are at.
There was discussion regarding the decrease of revenue within District Court.
Becky recommended for tomorrow’s ESC meeting to reiterate what was previously discussed and not
provide a memo at this time.

Becky talked about the Juvenile Department having concerns regarding administration of medication to
juveniles.
