Matt began the meeting with giving an update on current infrastructure projects and the Packwood sewer
project.
CJ Neer said are going to need to have people with extra experience within the water district.
Matt discussed the credentials of a new employee who was hired at the EDC.
Matt discussed the current status of sewer, water, and transportation to the Benaroya property in
Winlock. He said he is continuing to meet with Benaroya representatives.
The group briefly discussed the status of the Council of Governments (COG).
Matt discussed they recently launched a work force development study with Centralia College.
Matt said there are several companies looking to locate to the Lewis County area.
Matt discussed the current .09 applications his office has received.
The group discussed the current need for development of large acreage sites affiliated with the IPAT.
Matt asked about the Governor’s visit to Lewis County last week.
The group discussed the comprehensive plan steps.
