Larry Unzelman said his understanding is that the proposal would come from the nonprofit board and
that the county would then negotiate with that board and work on the lease agreement.
Commissioner Jackson said the board would give its suggestions.
Danette asked if the nonprofit board would get to see the templates.
The group discussed sunsetting the Senior Transition Team after the board is formed.
Glenda Forga said a meet-and-greet for prospective board members is planned for 7:30 p.m. June 22.
She said the nonprofit board must have at least 15 members for gambling licensing purposes.
Glenda and Bill Marshall said the 17-or-so-member-board includes doctors, lawyers, people of faith,
from many parts of the county.
Glenda said the Lewis County Seniors will hold elections in July.
Glenda and Becky discussed setting up meetings for July and August to discuss those lease agreements.
Glenda said she would work on the AAA agreement with Judy and Danette.
The group discussed what information would be needed for the lease, such as the terms, the length of
the lease, any monies exchanging hands.
