Commissioner Fund began the meeting with introductions.
Bill Marshall discussed the updates and changes with the board for the non-profit (Lewis County
Seniors). The first meeting for the new board will be July 20th. Bill Marshall and Danette discussed the
list of board members.
Danette mentioned the AAA grant has been submitted.
Danette asked who will be taking the lead on drafting a lease for the buildings.
Glenda Forga joined the meeting at 1:47 p.m.
The group discussed Glenda and Danette’s involvement moving forward. Bill Marshall added input on
this.
Glenda discussed with the BOCC how she is currently providing support to the Lewis County Seniors
board.
Commissioner Jackson asked for clarification on the specific number of board members.
Commissioner Fund asked Glen about serving alcohol at the Senior Centers if the group gets a banquet
permit. Glenn said the BOCC needs to adopt a policy on this topic.
The group further discussed the requirements for a gaming license.
Commissioner Stamper ended the phone call at 2:07 p.m. Bill, Steve, Glenn and Glenda left at 2:15 p.m.
Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Jackson and Danette York stayed.
Danette discussed the current status and cost of lab services in Lewis County.
Danette discussed how Health needs a new piece of equipment. She discussed how she wanted the
Board’s approval before ordering a new machine to be able to process water samples.
