BOCC Wrap-Up

Commissioner Fund made a motion to add a resolution to rescind Resolution 87-466 as well as remove
Monday BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Stamper seconded the motion.
Motion passed 2-0.
Commissioner Fund said Blue Ribbon Task Force has been added to every agenda. She said all proposed
positions are added to a list to be reviewed. Commissioner Stamper said he plans to attend various city
council and fire commission meetings to talk with the public. Commissioner Fund discussed using Survey
Monkey to get a feel for the public’s thoughts.
Larry said he likes the idea of going to various leadership organizations. Anil Puri and Larry McGee said
they will facilitate meetings with Rotary. Larry said there is an interest in helping the board
communicate.
Commissioner Stamper discussed the .09 reimbursement request from Onalaska Alliance, which wants
to use unused money to repair restrooms.
Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Stamper said there’s a possibility health care rates could
increase by up to – or even more than – 30 percent.
The commissioners discussed their calendars.
Commissioner Stamper discussed a complaint regarding a property on South Prairie Road. The owner
indicates he wants the 40-foot right of way for which he has documentation. Commissioner Stamper
said he wants to meet with the gentleman, Commissioner Fund, Commissioner Jackson, Glenn Carter
and Erik Martin.
Commissioner Fund said to add Capital Budget to the Legislative Roundup.
Candy Hallom joined at 9:39 p.m. She said Steve Ericson is leaving Flood Control District #1 and that his
son would like to join the board. She left at 9:41 a.m.
