Jonathan requested an update on the DPA guild contract.
Jonathan discussed a current struggle with the software being used in the office.
Public records training- August 11th, David Fine will be doing a PowerPoint presentation to supplement
to the training provided by the Attorney General’s Office.
Jonathan introduced Ross Peterson as the new Public Records attorney.
Paulette expressed concern over Casey Mauermann processing the records requests for the
Prosecutor/Sheriff’s Office and records for the BOCC.
Glenn discussed the ATV ordinance for the county. Mentioned he had been contacted by Ted Jackson
who has expressed a desire have an ordinance.
David Fine briefed the board on a decision from the Liquor & Cannabis Board about how the state has
decided that they will not be giving Lewis County money from marijuana revenue and keeping the
current licensing requirements.
Eric discussed how IT is looking into GovQA upgrades. Paulette and Eric discussed the drawback of the
current invoice set up in GovQA.
Executive Session
At 2:29 p.m., Commissioner Stamper announced that the Board was going into Executive Session
under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) and RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) for 32 minutes to discuss litigation and employee
performance.
Executive Session ended at 3:01 p.m.
After the executive session ended the group discussed budget.
David discussed the possible penalties of delayed Public Records responses.
