Agenda changes
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move a resolution to approve Amendment #1 to Interagency
Agreement RCO 17-1164 to the day’s BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Fund seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.
PDR officer
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to designate Casey Mauermann as the Public Disclosure Officer,
effective Aug. 21, 2017.
Commissioner Fund seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.
Candy Hallom left at 9:18 a.m.
Historic Preservation
Commissioner Fund and Commissioner Stamper said no Historic Preservation money was allocated for
use in 2017.
Commissioner Stamper said he is exploring using Historic Preservation funding for signs along Highway
12. The year of allocation was not set.
Commissioner Fund discussed possibly allocating $1,000 toward the George Washington marker and
possibly allocating money toward a church.
Committee applications
The commissioners discussed applications for various committees.
At 9:48 a.m., the Commissioner Stamper said the board would discuss agenda items 4-9 at 10:30 a.m.
The BOCC Wrap-Up meeting recessed at 9:49 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
At 10:40 a.m., the BOCC Wrap-Up meeting resumed with Commissioner Stamper, Commissioner Fund,
Commissioner Jackson and Steve Walton in attendance.
Steve Walton discussed the Southwest Washington Fair.
Steve left at 10:57 a.m.
The commissioners discussed their calendars and the 2018 budget.
The commissioners discussed a letter from Rob Hill. Commissioner Jackson said he was drafting a letter
in response.
