The group discussed the Public Employee Benefit Board (PEBB) insurance costs and coverage.
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move a resolution to approve a Collective Bargaining
Agreement with the Teamsters Combined group for calendar year 2016-2019 to the Monday,
September 25, 2017, BOCC agenda. Commissioner Fund seconded.
Motion passed 3-0.
The group returned to discussions regarding insurance.
Commissioner Fund discussed the savings the county and the employees would realize by switching to
PEBB.
Danette York joined the meeting at 9:47 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper left at 9:48 a.m.
Archie Smith, Steve Walton, Grace Jimenez, Suzette Smith, and Becky Butler left at 9:50 a.m.
Danette said a Thurston County official has agreed to run the upcoming dangerous dog hearing.
Commissioner Stamper returned at 9:52 a.m.
