Steve outlined his current staffing levels. Down to 10 FTEs, has 6 in field training, and currently has three
open positions.
Steve discussed he has several pending disciplinary investigations. He discussed how it is about changing
the culture within the dispatch center.
Currently in labor negotiations but were rescheduled due to HR’s availability.
Steve outlined the proposed interlocal agreement (ILA) with the user group.
Steve also discussed the operation manual and how the user group has expressed a desire to have the
two documents bound together.
Steve outlined the program and infrastructure costs which are in the ILA and establishing a capital fund.
Steve said he is in the process of implementing radio services contracts.
Emergency Management is hosting a flood meeting at the Veteran’s Museum on November 7th 9 a.m.-
12 p.m.
Steve discussed his staffing level in Emergency Management.
2017-18 planning grant has been approved.
Lewis County Alert had over 100 new registrations.
Commissioner Fund stepped out of the meeting at 10:24 a.m. and re-entered the meeting at 10:25 a.m.
Steve discussed having a plan for emergencies at each one of dams in Lewis County.
