Rodney Reynolds gave an overview of current expense. He said current expense has received more in
2017 than it had in the same timeframe in 2016. He said sales and use tax also is higher than it was
compared to 2016.
Rodney said he is concerned about the cash and investment balance for current expense. He said the
$7.3 million for September 2017 is $1.2 million less than what was seen in September 2016.
Becky Butler said Tacoma Dam money has yet to be received.
Becky said the county will receive no state money for county assistance in 2018.
Suzette Smith said the county is three-quarters of the way through 2017. She said Civil Service is still
high. She said the county is at 64 percent of its appropriation.
Larry Grove thanked the commissioners, especially Commissioner Stamper, for help with the ballot
boxes.
