despite being employed. She said the quest is to work together and do more as a group. Debbie said
United Way’s “audacious” goal is to have 30 percent out of poverty by 2030.
Debbie said United Way has worked on a “reading buddy” program. She directed the group to
www.volunteerlewis.org.

baskets to be bid on.

need to be alerted.

Casey urged the group to name a point of contact regarding PDRs. She said Risk is working on setting up
payment steps.
Archie Smith said the county hosted informational meetings with the Public Employee Benefits Board
(PEBB) on Oct. 17. He said anyone with questions about insurance can reach out to himself, Grace

Commissioner Fund thanked the individuals who attended the Legislative Roundtable.

retirements to alert her office.
Steve Wohld said Discover Lewis County is moving from IT to the fair. Becky said the IT services
interfund rate will decrease because of it.

and that the Fiscal employees will be moved to the departments they help.

Centralia School District’s levy.
