Steve Mansfield gave the following updates:

Personnel update: Interviews taking place, former employee to work part-time
Labor negotiations: Work continues
ILA update: Will meet with Prosecutor’s Office next week to review agreements, infrastructure and
equipment still need to be addressed
Radio Services contracts: Could be beneficial to Sheriff’s Office and Public Works
Emergency Management
Flood meeting: Scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 7 at the Veterans Memorial Museum
Commissioner Fund joined at 10:18 a.m.
Personnel update: Candy Hallom and Cheryl Millman helping collect information for MAC
EMPG grant: 2017-18 grant will be discussed during the Oct. 30 BOCC Business Meeting
Drop, Cover and Hold drill and Lewis County Alert: Several hundred are signed up for alerts, not
everyone confirms receipt of text / phone call / etc.
Commissioner Stamper left at 10:30 a.m.
MOU’s: Three out (Public Health, Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, and Coroner)
Communications plan: Working on requirements that call for multiple language alerts
Commissioner Stamper returned at 10:37 a.m.
