Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move a resolution to approve a collective bargaining
agreement with the Lewis County Sheriff Support Guild for calendar years 2017-19. Commissioner Fund
seconded. Motion passed 2-0.
Commissioner Jackson and Commissioner Fund discussed Elizabeth Hicker’s application for the Lewis-
Mason-Thurston County Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA). Commissioner Jackson asked Susan DeLaire to
weigh in.
Commissioner Fund left at 9:14 a.m. and returned at 9:15 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper and Steve Walton joined at 9:15 a.m.
Kim Amrine joined at 9:16 a.m.
The commissioners presented Kim with a gift card in appreciation of her help with public disclosure.
Kim left at 9:18 a.m.
Commissioner Fund said some seniors have expressed concerns about the fundraising group.
Erik Martin joined at 9:24 a.m.
Eric Eisenberg joined at 9:32 a.m.
Steve Walton left at 9:33 a.m.
Commissioner Fund discussed a suggestion regarding the oxbow near the Red Barn.
Commissioner Stamper said he would like to talk with Eric Eisenberg prior to the meeting with
Community Development.
Eric Eisenberg left at 9:36 a.m.
Danette York joined at 9:36 a.m.
Commissioner Jackson asked Commissioner Fund to move forward with the Borst lights “Christmas
card.”
Steve Walton returned at 9:39 a.m.
Commissioner Stamper said the senior centers need to provide the amounts they have collected.
Danette said there has a request for the $50,000, including three months’ worth of food and three
months’ worth of salaries.
Danette suggested the commissioners ask the group for a budget keeping everything, including hours
worked, at current levels.
The group further discussed Elizabeth Hicker’s LMTAAA application.
