PULLED: Erik Martin discussed a notice of hearing to modify the Vader-Enchanted Valley Water Fee and
Rate schedule.
The group discussed a resolution to accept an interlocal agreement between Lewis County Sheriff /
County and the Thurston County Sheriff / County for the use of jail facilities.
Commissioner Jackson made a motion to move two Consent items, and one Deliberation item to the
Monday, Nov. 27, BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Stamper seconded the motion.
Motion passed 2-0.
Danette York said a Nurse Family Partnership contract will be finalized Dec. 11.
Erik Martin said Peters Road is under flood watch.
Paulette said she’ll return to the office Nov. 28. She said she’d like to help craft policies for stolen
property.
Steve Wohld discussed a recent email security threat. He also asked Paulette about purchasing third-
party insurance.
Becky Butler said the budget amendment will go before the commissioners Dec. 18. She warned the
group that unless changes take place at the state level, the county may face cuts for 2019.
Steve Walton reminded the group that custodial services will begin early in the day due to the holiday.
He said the fair is offering a holiday special on fair tickets.
Archie Smith said the employee handbook is being revamped. He said workshops to explain changes to
sick leave will be planned.
Susan DeLaire and Archie Smith left at 9:46 a.m.
Rieva Lester reminded the group about the final BOCC meeting of the year.
Archie returned at 9:53 a.m. He briefly discussed surgery coverage through PEBB.
Meeting adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
