The group reviewed a draft agreement with the Lewis County Seniors.
The commissioners approved the following changes:
Under “county agrees to”: Accept Col. Ron Averill’s suggestion to eliminate “including the thrift store”
from 2a and 2b and fully remove clauses 2c and 2d.
The group discussed the need for the Lewis County Seniors to make the nutrition program autonomous.
Under “LC Seniors agree to”: fully remove clause 3 and reword clause 4 to reflect quarterly meetings
and to reflect the inclusion of information provided in the past.
Under “Recapture provision”: retain “fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this
Agreement or L.C. Seniors.”
Under “Status of Parties”: retain “grant” in the clause.
Under “reporting requirements”: Keep “and enrichment” and keep “upon 30 days notice the county
may request, and the L.C. Seniors shall provide, additional financial or other documentation related to
L.C. Seniors activities.”
Under “disputes”: Update the Seniors’ point of contact at the county.
