Eric Eisenberg reviewed with the group a draft of the county’s 2020 contract with WSU Extension, which
would transition staff oversight to WSU from the county.
Erik Martin joined at 10:11 a.m.
Steve Wohld said a separate network could be set up for WSU Extension since the employees will be
WSU employees, not county employees.
Jim Kropf said WSU is considering who will be the interim director once Gary Fredricks leaves.
Gary Fredricks said he would provide costs for the director, two faculty members and a part-time admin
within a week.
Gary said he has spoken with the current staff about the transition.
Becky noted that HR is drafting a letter of termination effective April 15, 2020.
The commissioners directed HR to begin the notice of termination process, with an effective date of
April 15, 2020.
