Reject all bids for Chehalis Ridge Radio Site Project, Project #31-1617 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 20-050
REJECTION OF ALL BIDS FOR THE CHEHALIS RIDGE
RADIO SITE PROJECT, PROJECT #31-1617
WHEREAS, a call for bids was made from the Small Works Roster for the Chehalis
Ridge Radio Site Project based upon the plans and specifications developed to provide a
radio tower and associated infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County received 7 bids in response to the request:
C&R Tractor and Landscaping, Inc., Kelso, WA $680,572.00
NOVA Contracting, Inc., Littlerock, WA $567,000.00
Summit Solutions Group, LLC Sisters, OR $609,723.00
Quigg Bros , Inc Aberdeen, WA $427,500.00
Rognlins, Inc Aberdeen, WA $578,000 00
JAM Construction, Inc Olympia, WA $559,000.00
JH Kelly, Longview, WA $572,426.00; and
WHEREAS, all bids received exceeded the Small Works Roster limitation of
$350,000.00 and available budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that all
bids are hereby rejected for the Chehalis Ridge Radio Site Project, Project# 31-1617;
and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Facilities Department be
instructed to prepare a revised plan and bid documents for said project.
