JP Anderson discussed a proclamation recognizing Feb. 11, 2020, as 211 Day.
Doug Carey discussed the rejection of all bids for the Chehalis Ridge Radio Site Project, Project #31-
1617.
Matt Jaeger discussed a resolution authorizing the Director of Information Technology Services to
execute a purchase order with Dell Technologies EMC and Cerium Networks.
Tim Fife discussed the proposed acquisition of additional right of way for Townsend Road Bridge
Replacement.
JP Anderson discussed a resolution approving Client Services Contract between Washington State Health
Care Authority and Lewis County for Community Based Prevention Services for Mental Health
Promotion Programs.
Tamara Hayes discussed a contract for Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Master Plan and Market
Feasibility Study.
Tim Fife discussed a resolution to set load limits for Tucker Road.
Commissioner Fund made a motion to move one presentation, two consent items and six deliberation
items to the Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Jackson seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.
Rieva Lester noted there may be two late additions for Feb. 10: the addition of a Community Outreach
worker and an agreement with the Lewis County Seniors.
Lara McRea discussed the strategic planning sessions.
Doug Carey applauded IT’s efforts to recycle surplus computers, copiers and printers.
Erik Martin invited the group to a strategic planning session planned for Feb. 6.
Steve Wohld discussed work to repair building leaks.
Steve Mansfield discussed work on infrastructure improvements. He and Tim Fife discussed flooding
concerns as another storm system moves in.
Gary Fredricks discussed upcoming WSU Extension classes.
JP Anderson discussed Lewis County’s partnership with United Way.
Tamara Hayes discussed a fair special as well as efforts to secure a grant for tourism support.
Becky Butler said the hearing for the first amendment for 2020 is scheduled for an April 20 hearing.
Commissioner Fund discussed matters before the state Legislature.
Commissioner Jackson discussed a recent visit to South County Park.
