Bill Teitzel and Jason Matson said the Historical Society is $30,000 “in the black.”
Jason said the group will hold the UFO party again in 2020.
He said the group is working on materials for the 40th anniversary of the eruption of Mount St. Helens.
Jason said the museum has received some interesting donations, including a couple of display cases, a
chess table, a deed and a pistol.
Jason said upcoming exhibits will include one on 10 historic women and another on 10 current
influential women.
Bill and Jason discussed efforts to secure an LED reader board.
Jason said the group also is working on a spring ghost tour as well as a concert.
Commissioner Jackson left at 11:15 a.m.
The group discussed the eruption of Mount St. Helens.
