Eric Eisenberg discussed two law library cases for which the county won its appeals. He said the
petitioner’s attorney, Joe Thomas, has filed an appeal and that the courts denied that appeal. Eric said
Thomas signed a notice of withdrawal. Eric provided an update on another case.
The group discussed what business the commissioners can conduct during the statewide COVID-19
shutdown. Eric reminded the commissioners that per the governor’s orders, the commissioners can
address COVID-19 matters or items that are deemed necessary and routine. He and the rest of the
group discussed what would constitute necessary and routine matters.
