He said both individuals are in their 50s. John said the county’s total is at 34, with three fatalities. Erik Martin discussed the previous day’s Board of Health meeting. He said the hospitals and Dr. Wood were hesitant about applying for the variance in response to a potentially far-reaching case identified on May 13. Erik said it’s unclear where the county’s population places it in eligibility. John Abplanalp said the individual from the May 13 case may have had multiple contacts. He said testing is taking place and that those results should give Health a better picture about how far-reaching that case may be. John said the hospitals have not yet provided letters of support regarding bed capacity, noting that the letters would be needed for the variance application. John said the state has not yet set contact investigation parameters for COVID-19. Erik said supply chains are normalizing in relation to stock and prices. Commissioner Fund said TransAlta has indicated it will held with area COVID-19 response. Commissioner Stamper said the state is opening up primitive campsites. Erik discussed a request from the Sheriff’s Office to include additional identifying information about COVID-19 cases. John said Steve Wohld and JP Anderson are working on isolation and quarantine plans, which would need to be part of the variance application. Meeting adjourned at 3:26 p.m.
