Approve certain vehicles/equipment as property and notice of intent to sell BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 20-199 APPROVING CERTAIN VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY AND NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL WHEREAS, RCW 36.34 allows any county to establish comprehensive procedures for the management of county property consistent with the public interest; and WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, has established comprehensive procedures for the management and disposal of county property; and WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Lewis County Public Works Department has determined the vehicles and equipment listed in Exhibit "A" have reached their useful life and have been replaced with new ones; and WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to declare the vehicles listed in Exhibit "A" as surplus and to dispose of them in accordance with Lewis County Code and RCW 36.34. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the vehicles listed in Exhibit "A" are hereby declared surplus and the Fleet Services Division is directed to dispose of them in accordance with RCW 36.34 and Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30.
