Josh Metcalf discussed a resolution to approve certain vehicles and equipment as surplus county
property and notice of intent to sell.
JP Anderson discussed a resolution to approve Amendment #1 to Memorandum of Understanding
Between Valley View Health Center and Lewis County to reduce amount that provides services through
CARES Act funding.
Tamara Hayes discussed a resolution to approve a Coronavirus Relief Fund -- MOU with EDC
Becky Butler discussed a hearing to approve the Lewis County 2020 budget, emergency and
supplemental appropriations to and transfers within current expense and other funds.
Commissioner Stamper made a motion to move one notice item, two consent items, two deliberation
items and one hearing to the Monday, June 15, 2020, BOCC agenda.
Commissioner Fund seconded the motion.
Motion passed 3-0.
JP Anderson said a draft of the Phase 3 application should be available for review later in the day.
Steve Wohld said he will send an update to ESC regarding plans to open the county once the county
moves to Phase 3.
Tamara Hayes discussed grant funding being made available to area businesses. Tamara also discussed
plans to hold a market fair for area schoolkids.
Becky Butler said the county has started the budget process for internal rates. She said the BOCC is
looking at 0 percent increases. Becky said Commerce will send out CDBG grants to the county and cities.
She said the county’s grant would be $161,000.
Lee Napier said the Kresky team is back in the building. She said the team hopes to provide alternative
services even after the county opens to the public.
Commissioner Fund made a motion to authorize the County Manager to sign PAFs related to
organizational chart.
Commissioner Jackson seconded.
Motion passed 2-0.
Erik Martin said Health will give the commissioners a presentation on the Phase 3 application on June
11, noting that the commissioners will vote on it June 12.
