Erik Martin said Lewis County has seven new COVID-19 cases and one new death. He said the person
who died was in their 80s.
Erik asked the commissioners if there may be any projects for which the commissioners would like to
provide additional funding should the county be awarded additional Coronavirus Relief Funding.
Commissioner Stamper discussed the need for connectivity for at-home learning, child care for working
families, etc.
JP Anderson discussed a liaison position the county is creating to work with area schools to wade
through the challenges presented by the pandemic.
JP discussed monthly updates with school districts as well as testing at area schools.
The group discussed the need to address county policies in regards to work-from-home opportunities,
especially for employees with school-age children.
