LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-007
RATIFYING A CONSULTANT SUPPLEMENT OVER
$40,000 FOR AN ACTIVE PUBLIC WORKS
PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 11-437, the Board of County Commissioners
(BOCC) approval is required for all contracts, projects, agreement, grant
applications, contract amendments, and change orders involving expenditures in
excess of $40,000 but less than $150,000; and
WHEREAS, on September 30, 2019, the Director of Public Works approved an
Annual Consultant Agreement with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants, Inc. for
services for upcoming public works projects. The agreement was for a maximum
amount payable of $100,000.00; and
WHEREAS, on September 11, 2020, Supplement #1 was executed to
accommodate new anticipated Task Orders and amendments to existing Task
Orders in the amount of $100,000; and
WHEREAS, additional work is needed for our Centralia Alpha and Skate Creek
projects which necessitates Supplement #2 for an additional $132,000.00 to
complete the Task Orders.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Supplement #1 previously executed
by Public Works and Supplement #2 are hereby approved by the Board of County
Commissioners.

Section V, PAYMENT, shall be amended as follows:
New maximum payable to be raised from$100,000 to $200,000 to accommodate new anticipated Task
Orders and amendments to existing Task Orders.
