RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE INITIAL

COMBINED, JUVENILE DETENTION, JUVENILE
PROBATION, PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
CLERICAL, AND SUPERVISORS GROUPS, AND THE
SHERIFF'S SUPPORT SERVICES GUILD
WHEREAS, the AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal
Employees) ("Union") and Teamsters Local Union No. 252, representing the
Assessors, Combined, Juvenile Detention, Juvenile Probation, Prosecuting Attorney
Clerical, and Supervisors Groups and the Lewis County Dispatchers Guild, and the
Sheriff's Support Services Guild and Lewis County ("County") (collectively the
"Parties") negotiated in good faith a Collective Bargaining Agreement covering
the period of January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022 (the "CBA"); and
WHEREAS, the County has conducted a County-wide salary study wherein the
amount of compensation for each employment position within the County was
evaluated. The results of the study and the revision of the compensation for each
position are set forth as agreed upon by both Parties as reflected in the attached
MOU; and
WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the CBA to reflect and incorporate the
revised salary schedule as reflected in the attached MOU.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the BOCC that AFSCME and the Lewis
County Dispatchers Guild and Teamsters represented employees representing the
Assessors, Combined, Juvenile Detention, Juvenile Probation, Prosecuting Attorney
Clerical, and Supervisors groups, and the Sheriff's Support Services Guild shall be
placed on the new 2021 Lewis County Salary Grid effective April 1, 2021, as set
forth in the attached MOU.

Memorandum of Understanding

The revised compensation amounts are set forth in the Exhibit A. Hence, the parties
wish to amend the CBA to reflect and incorporate the revised salary schedule which attached
hereto as Exhibit A and further referenced as Appendix F. Now therefore, the Parties agree as
follows:
Only the new addition of Appendix F of the CBA which appears as a table reflecting the
position classifications and salary grades, is hereby amended to read as set forth as in the
attached Exhibit A.
This Memorandum of Understanding shall be effective as of April 1, 2021.

Memorandum of Understanding
The Sheriff's Support Services Guild ("Guild") representing the Sheriff's clerical group
and Lewis County ("County") (collectively the "Parties") negotiated in good faith a Collective
Bargaining Agreement covering the period of January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022 (the
"CBA").
The County has conducted a County-side salary study wherein the amount of
compensation for each employment position within the County was evaluated. The results of
the study and the revision of the compensation for each position are set forth as attached to
this MOU as Exhibit A.
The revised compensation amounts are set forth in the Exhibit A. Hence,the parties
wish to amend the CBA to reflect and incorporate the revised salary schedule which attached
hereto as Exhibit A and further amends the CBA to include newly added appendices, Appendix
B, in the CBA. Now therefore,the Parties agree as follows:
Only the amendment of the added Appendix B of the CBA which appears as a table
reflecting the position classifications and salary grades, is hereby amended to read as set forth
as in the attached Exhibit B.
This Memorandum of Understanding shall be effective as of April 1, 2021.
