Approve temporary easement on McCormick Creek Road right of way to WSDOT
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-204 APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT ON MCCORMICK CREEK ROAD RIGHT OF WAY TO THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY AUTHORIZING SIGNATURE THEREON WHEREAS, Lewis County holds right of way for McCormick Creek Road as shown on the attached plan sheet 4 hereto and made a part hereof; and located adjacent to the right of way of the State of Washington, Department of Transportation SR6, McCormick to PeEll project; and WHEREAS, the project requires that the State of Washington, Department of Transportation acquire temporary rights over the County right of way shown in red on the attached plan sheet 4; and WHEREAS, after consideration by the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners, it appears that it will be for the best interest of both Lewis County and the State of Washington that Lewis County temporarily convey an easement to the State of Washington. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Temporary Easement from Lewis County to the State of Washington for the temporary transfer of property be executed in accordance with RCW 47.12.040, and delivered to the State of Washington, Department of Transportation.
