Approving MOU with Providence Health and Services WA to include Drive-thru Mass Vaccination event BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-241 APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND PROVIDENCE HEALTH AND SERVICES WASHINGTON TO INCLUDE THE DRIVE-THRU MASS VACCINATION EVENT THAT OCCURRED ON JANUARY 24, 2021 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding with Providence Health and Services Washington, which includes the Drive-thru Mass Vaccination event that occurred on January 24, 2021; and WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding changes the original contract to include the Drive-thru Mass Vaccination event that occurred on January 24, 2021; and WHEREAS, no funding impact with original budget remaining at $2,000,000 through April 21, 2021; and WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Memorandum of Understanding between Providence Health and Services Washington and Lewis County include the start date of January 21, 2021. This MOU is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same. DONE IN OPEN SESSION this 29th day of June, 2021. The 90 day increment reflected in this amendment will be ending on July 20, 2021. Additionally, the start date of the PSA is being updated to January 21, 2021 to allow Providence to invoice for the Drive-thru Mass Vaccination event that occurred on 1/24/2021. There is no change to the budget as laid out in the original agreement.
