PROCLAMATION
Honoring the 2021 Southwest Washington Fair
Little Miss Friendly Program

r ' • LEWIS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, since 1968, the Southwest Washington Fair (SWWF) has been selecting Little Miss
Friendly,the official hostess and living logo of the fair; and
WHEREAS, the 2021 Little Miss Friendly will be announced a week from today (on Aug. 17)
during Opening Ceremonies on the first day of the 2021 Southwest Washington Fair; and
WHEREAS, the reigning Little Miss Friendly, Haiden Bartel, will turn over her cape to one of the
following five finalists: 10-year-old Jaylyn Evans of Chehalis, 8-year-old Aria Hoffman of
Centralia, 10-year-old MaKayla Maynard of Chehalis, 10-year-old Laney McGregor of Chehalis
and 10-year-old Zoey Zachary of Chehalis; and
WHEREAS, the 2021 Little Miss Friendly will attend six days of the fair—where she'll be joined by
Miss Lewis County Sophie Moerke and Lewis County Dairy Ambassador Brylee Yackley—and will
represent the SWWF at many community events until the 2022 SWWF Opening Ceremonies.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners
congratulates the five finalists, the current Little Miss Friendly and the entire Little Miss Friendly
Program, and the board invites the community to attend the Fair festivities August 17-22, 2021.
