The Citizens Budget Committee members present introduced themselves. Becky Butler said this
committee is a bridge that connects the community with the county. The goal of the group is to provide
a public insight of the citizens and the community. This committee provides better education and
provides a better viewpoint to the public for the things that the county is responsible for. There are two
dates for budget meetings in October. Becky provided a calendar to the committee members and she
encouraged the members to attend the upcoming budget meetings. Becky said there would be an
introduction to OpenGov software for the committee members as well.
