LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-435
ESTABLISH THE RATE OF PAY FOR A NON-UNION
EXTRA HELP DEPUTY CORONER EFFECTIVE
JANUARY 1, 2022
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) establishes
compensation of employees at Lewis County including Extra Help employees; and
WHEREAS, the Extra Help Deputy Coroner rate of pay was established at $3.00
per hour over the top scale of the Extra Help Grid help which was approved
through Resolution 21-304 on August 10, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC recognizes that at times positions will require pay above
the Extra Help Grid ; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to increase the Extra Help Deputy Coroner rate of
pay to the hourly rate associated with Lewis County Salary Grid Grade 117 Step 3.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby (1) repeals
Resolution 21-304 and (2) sets the Extra Help Deputy Coroner rate of pay at
Grade 117 Step 3 on the Lewis County Salary Grid effective January 1, 2022.
