IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-459
LEWIS COUNTY 2021 BUDGET EMERGENCY AND
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO AND
TRANSFERS WITHIN CURRENT EXPENSE AND
VARIOUS FUNDS, A NOTICE OF HEARING
THEREON
WHEREAS, there is a need to hold a public hearing for the purpose of amending
the 2021 budget for Current Expense and various funds; and
WHEREAS, all those wishing to speak for or against the amendment shall be
afforded the opportunity to be heard. Said amendment will be available to review
and can be obtained from the Board of County Commissioners' (BOCC) Office.
Written comments may be submitted to the BOCC prior to or during said hearing.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing will be held before the
Lewis County BOCC in the Historical Courthouse, 351 N.W. North Street, Chehalis,
Washington, on the 11th day of January 2022. The hearing will be held on or after
10:00 a.m. to consider an amendment to various departments within the 2021
budget for Current Expense and various funds, increasing expenditures in the
amount of $200,000, offset with an increase in revenue in the amount of
$200,000; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby instructs
the Clerk of the Board to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications,
posting and publication for the hearings as required by law.

LEWIS COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Lewis County Board of
Commissioners (BOCC) in the Historic Courthouse, 351 NW North Street, Chehalis, Washington, at
or after 10 a.m. Jan. 11, 2022.
Written comments can be submitted by mail at 351 N.W. North Street, Chehalis, WA 98532 or via
email at bocc@lewiscountywa.gov. Please include "Public comment - budget amendment" in
the subject line.
The hearing will be held to consider an amendment to departments within the 2021 budget for
Current Expense and various funds.
All those wishing to speak for or against the amendment shall be afforded the opportunity to be
heard. This amendment proposes increasing expenditures for various funds and the General
fund in the amount of $200,000, offset by an increase in revenue in the amount of $200,000.
Additional adjustments for unanticipated grant funds and expenditures may be added prior to
the Jan. 11 hearing.
