Approving Amendment A with Dept of Commerce, Treasury Rent Assistance Program funds through the Housing Assistance Unit. BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 21-463 APPROVING AMENDMENT A BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE TO PROVIDE TREASURY RENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FUNDS THROUGH THE HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNIT WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Amendment A, #21-4616C-116, with the Department of Commerce (DOC) Housing Assistance Unit; and WHEREAS, the awarded funds in the amount of $2,773,782.74 are to be re- obligated from T-RAP grant #21-4616C-116 to the Emergency Rent Assistance Program 2.0 (ERAP 2.0) grant #21-4619C-116A; and WHEREAS, this will amend the T-RAP project end date to October 15, 2021, and the ERAP 2.0 grant #21-4619C-116, which was approved via Res. #21-375, October 26, 2021, will continue in the place of T-RAP; and WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Amendment A, #21-4616C-116, between Lewis County and DOC to re-obligate awarded funds in the amount of $2,773.782.74 from T-RAP grant #21-4616C-116 to the ERAP 2.0 grant #21-4619C-116A and amend the TRAP project end date to October 15, 2021, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
