Present: Commissioner Pollock, Commissioner Grose, Commissioner Swope (joined while the Board was
in executive session), County Manager Erik Martin, Lee Napier, Andrew Logerwell, Amber Smith, Josh
Metcalf

Commissioner Pollock announced at 1:32 p.m. the Board would be going into executive session
regarding Water-Sewer District 2 under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 10 minutes.
At 1:42 p.m., the Board extended executive session 5 minutes.
At 1:47 p.m., the Board extended executive session 2 minutes.
At 1:49 p.m., the Board extended executive session 2 minutes.
At 1:51 p.m., the Board extended executive session 2 minutes.
At 1:53 p.m., the Board extended executive session 2 minutes.
At 1:55 p.m., the Board came out of executive session and Commissioner Pollock announced that no
decisions had been made.
Amber Smith said two legal options were presented to the Board during executive session. Amber Smith
made a recommendation to use option one. Commissioner Swope made a motion to use legal option
one. Commissioner Grose seconded. Motion passed 3-0.
Andrew Logerwell asked if the Board would like to change negation strategies. The Board did not and
agreed to continue with current negation strategies.
The meeting adjourned at 1:59 p.m.
