Richard DeBolt introduced the Energy Innovation Coalition. He said they have reached out to numerous
entities to look at hydrogen as a solution for energy in Lewis County.
Twin Transit is looking into having hydrogen fueled buses. Toyota is working on its own hydrogen-fueled
vehicle. The goal of the group is to determine how to make Lewis County a hydrogen valley.
EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) is a firm from Wyoming and Joe Clark from Twin Transit
reached out to them to better explain how Lewis County can benefit from a hydrogen valley. John and
David Cornish said they design, and construct low cost hydrogens fuel stations.
Robert Pehl from I-5 Toyota said Toyota is prepared to offer more hydrogen fuel-celled vehicles. At this
time, California and Hawaii are the only states that currently use hydrogen fuel-celled vehicles due to
the limited supply of hydrogen.
Joe closed out the meeting informing the group that hydrogen is a new vehicle to move Lewis County
forward.
Kelly Smith Johnston from Clarity Consulting said the next meeting will be in April 2022.
Meeting ended at 2:26 p.m.
