IN THE MATTER OF: RESOLUTION NO. 22-034
LIST THE BIDS RECEIVED AND CONTRACTOR
SELECTED FOR THE LEWIS COUNTY REVISED
REBID 2022 LIQUID ASPHALT PROPOSAL
WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a Call for Bids was published on
January 13 and January 20, 2022, in the circulation of record; and
WHEREAS, Bid quotations were submitted on January 27, 2022, from contractors
as follows:

Blue Line Transportation Co. Inc. of Portland, Ore. $1,825,716.97
Albina Asphalt, Vancouver, WA $1,998,757.53
; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County personnel evaluated the bids to determine the most
advantageous bid to Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, Blue Line Transportation Co. Inc. provided the most advantageous
and responsive bid quote of $1,825,716.97, including taxes, for the Lewis County
Revised Rebid 2022 Liquid Asphalt Proposal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Lewis County
Revised Rebid 2022 Liquid Asphalt Proposal in Lewis County shall be awarded to
Blue Line Transportation Co. Inc. in the amount of $1,825,716.97, including taxes,
upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County
Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County
Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
