Jonathan Meyer said the courts are working on an order that would allow the county’s two security
officers to continue to carry weapons in the courts.
At 2:02 p.m., Commissioner Pollock announced that the Board was going into Executive Session under
RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for 10 minutes to discuss the following:
• Water District No. 2 v. Lewis County
• Point Blank timber sale appeal
• Northern Spotted Owl cases
• Open Public Meeting Act
Executive Session started at 2:03 p.m.
At 2:13 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 4 minutes.
At 2:14 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 3 minutes.
At 2:17 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 3 minutes.
At 2:20 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 3 minutes.
At 2:23 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 5 minutes.
At 2:28 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 4 minutes.
At 2:32 p.m., the Board extended Executive Session for 3 minutes.
Executive Session ended at 2:35 p.m. Commissioner Pollock noted that no decisions had been made.
