Hi Rieva,
It will have more meaning for me personally if spoken from a county official,even if they are not
elected. I'm sorry if you don't agree on a personal level, but you have the fun job of reading it for me
anyways.
Please read the attached document as a public comment in session today.... unless of course Mr.
Abbarno, Mr. Snaza, Mr. Meyer or Mr. Swope are in attendance and want to read it for you. If I need
to send this comment as text within the body of the email rather than an attached document, please

1111 Welcomes Everyon
Constituent proclamation for our representatives as they have
abstained from all proclamations in 2022.
WHEREAS the Lewis County Welcomes EveryoneTM logo was
created as satirical commentary after multiple elected officials'
inappropriate conduct last August; and
WHEREAS the victory lap that same club of officials took shortly
afterward used similar imagery appropriation tactics; and
WHEREAS the Lewis County Welcomes EveryoneTM logo has
been in use since shortly after; and
WHEREAS the Lewis County Welcomes EveryoneTM logo has
been widely disseminated throughout our communities with no
confusion as to the source; and
WHEREAS the distinct logo has been legitimately registered as
a trademark with the Washington Secretary of State; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN that all persons should
reflect upon ways to interact in a dignified manner with different
circles of our communities besides their own whenever they see
the Lewis County Welcomes EveryoneTM logo.
