Open session
Amber Smith said Sheriff Snaza has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the PA’s Office
to delegate authority regarding the fulfillment of body camera records requests to the PA’s Office.
Amber said an additional MOU – this one with the BOCC – would be needed to cover the finances
associated with the PDRs since the PA’s Office doesn’t have the ability to address the finances. The
commissioners asked for a copy of the proposed MOU as well as the RCWs that govern the action.
Amber discussed the county’s work on the water banking effort. Commissioner Grose said he’d like to
have a discussion with the full board before moving forward with a request for proposals (RFP).
